as above says get the mag. most submerged logs have bouys attached and the main rockbar has a sign that says 'rock bar' hanging from a tree. also found out there is a rockbar just after the S Bends. came around the corner to find bream reaper stuck on it. cant say i ever knew it was there.

I have unfortunatly known about this rockbar personally since about 2002,,,,,,,,,,,many years before that i was blissfully unaware of it's existance.......

Hmmm I thought someone had planted that one at the S;s just to get my new prop... It ahs a piece of that on it. As does about three other rock bars, a sand bar and probably the ramp as well.
But back on track, I hear up river of ramp is not too bad esp around any little bits of rock that keep the water warm over night (hint there is a private ramp up near the new bridge works that holds them first think in the am On left as you head up stream)
But the bible is a good book to find likely spots and other bits of stuff to hit. There is also a SD card from the trailer shop near repco on the Stuart Hwy that loads all the waypoints in for you

Oh my experience as a first timer on the daly, i found the sinclairs rock bar i think its called and lost the motor leg
Now i have the fish finder sd card uploaded on my gps that marks all the rock bars. My perrsonal favorite spot to fish there is the no fish crk rock bar.
Good luck!
