Just got the latest set of tag returns.... thought some of you might like to see them.

I should get a copy of all the returns from now on and I will try and post them all :mrgreen:

I've helped a couple of the local kids return tags and we asked for data for the last couple of years for the Daly with which we did a lot of maths exercises. Kids found it a lot more interesting as they could relate more readily to the data and its real life consequences. Good fun!

As for checking if your tagged fish have been re caught

??: as far as I know AFANT contact both parties (releaser and catcher?) or get in touch with the AFANT office :mrgreen:

Usually the Fisheries mob send out a "certificate of recapture" to the person who tagged the fish, not sure if the one who caught the tagged fish gets a certificate as well.

Nice work 2rods makes for interesting reading . Hopefully the tagging contingent in the Pilbara start getting a few more returns for their effort. At the moment it appears the growth rates here are a lot slower. Keep up the good work :mrgreen:

I should contact them with my new address. Have moved several times since started fishing the Classic.

The King Bay gamefishing boys usually run it around October November I'll keep my ear to the ground. The Nickol Bay fellas should have an idea when too.
