Looking to do an overnighter at 4 mile this weekend. Never been before. Has anyone been out there lately? What is the road in like? Can anyone offer any advice on particular areas of the billabong that are worth a look. Hopefully we will be able to bag a few and i'll post some pics of the weekend when we return.

Apparently fishing quite well theres a couple of water crossings on the way and the roads a bit ruff but good spot Customer told me earlier one crossing is at about 400mm and the other around 600mm

Went out with Nika on th weekend just gone...couple of water spots.. not too bad.. firm bottom.. biggest pissoff was the selfish pr..ks who tied their boats to the tree at th launch point. As if getting the trailer in was't skinny enough, without inconsiderate pr..ks jamming up the hole. Not much in the way of fish..Trolled the sides and the middle, with varying depths and colours of lure., for not even a touch.

So we went out Friday morning, the road is pretty badly corrugated in some spots and the crossings aren't too deep. We got on the water about 8:30. Fair number of campers and boats out there. We were flicking small green egret plastics I started things off with a nice toga at the southern end, we went to the northern end, still a little bit of water flowing out and that is where we found the barra and then my mate outfished me dragging in about 10 barra for the morning. We went back after a quick lunch at camp and got another 6 for the afternoon. We went back down after dark and found another 4 fish when there were no clouds but once the moon diisappeared so did the fish. All up great day and night out there, great scenery and crocs to look at. Biggest barra was about 65cm.
Got up saturday morn and we went to 2 mile for a look. went to both extremes and found the fish down in the southern end, flicking at the pandanus and we got another 6 fish. I got 2 more togas in there. The Gold cans ran out so it was time to come home.
