yep pics of the sounder look good also the shadow can be a guide for the depth of fish also if the shadow is close to the white line or marked fish you know its close to the bottom shaow further away its further from the bottom good fun fiddling with them and then getting a good result at the end i recently done an update on mine and lost all old setting slowly tinkering with it i read on a humminbird forum the other day that turning the fish sensitivy down really low and turning the normal sensitivity up higher give you more off and arc like the lowrance rather than the solid red and yellow lump i am yet to try it yet so if ya do let me know how it goes

Doug I cant undrstand what is meant by "Fish Sensativity" which seeting is this ???

If you are running your sounder in advance user mode it give you a couple more settings You should have your fish id turn that off and you should have fish sensitivity turn that down. Pretty low maybe like 3 and then turn your general sensitivity up a little higher The way I read the forum it said it would pick up the smallest part of the fish and the. Largest part then the smallest again like the tail and that creates an arch Was also something on changing From 200 to 83 kh not 100% on that though Do a google search on humminbird forum some real handy stuff on there I have been reading
