On my travels I found myself in Port Macquarie on Thursday. Craving for a fish I went and bought a small handline etc in the hope of catching a flathead or something .

Went down the local jetty with a couple of locals there having a go so I was getting my hopes up. It was drizzling and freezing cold sitting there. The water clarity was amazing though making me think the system looks healthy still. No luck on the flatty getting cleaned out of bait in hour to pesky bait stealers. Thank goodness I had a flat bottle of bundy in my jacket which warmed the cockles. :mrgreen:
