I'm putting up a FISH FINDER TM Satellite DVD prize and How to Catch Barramundi DVD up for best picture of a personal best yellowbelly ... need five entries and I'll make the draw.
Only digital Yella photo I have. I was in prehistoric times until about 2004...
Caught these (and the trout) in Lake Eildon casting lures along eroded rock walls. Works a treat down there about this time of year.
My favourite eating fish.

Digi photos of photos - some not very good quality - apologies. Collection of yellowbelly caught in varying locations over the years.
The fish caught in Somerset dam was caught early one morining in a pea souper fog - couldnt see 20 metres in front of you - was eery - boats would appear out of the mist - located a massive school of fish on the finder - chucked every lur eint he boat at em but no one could get a touch - would have resorted to rapidly expanding bait if i had any on board.
Will be down in SA for xmas - might have to see if we can get a few - the fishing has been on the improve since the pros have been moved on!!
cheers Shane

Ok not my proudest moment, (ignorance is bliss?)
I was only new to fishing and in the F-in-Laws (ex now ) boat so I didn't release it.
Caught out near the Holbrook Ski Club, Lake Hume.
Was about 65cm and 14lb caught on a black and white Packrat.
Cheers
Sy
(No I didn't eat it either, the Pothunter did )

Went night trolling at Blowering Dam few months ago git onto a hot nights fishing.
Scored 6 Yellas over 60 to 64cm everyone a PB.
All released, you'd need to be hard up to eat one, over about lbs,.....way too fat !!
Best one for last , my Daughters 67cm Yella at Blowering a couple of years ago on some cheap lure stuck to the front of a fishin mag She tought she was snagged....till the snag started swimming away !
