finially went for a fish at the keppels on weekend with couple mates.... wasnt as calm as i thought but still good..... we luanched at 5ish boats everywere.... dont really no many spots out there as its new ground so went to hannahs..... fished the rock an got heaps of small poop every bait so had to move then got one nice grey mackerall bout 80cm... :catch:

. never seen another mackerall all day after that..... drift fish for a bit,... no good all just little stripeys hussey jobfish... so went to man an wife an found some nice ground looked the good ont he gps.... caught heaps little poop again including this little black cod looking thing.. mate said its good bait... so on it went... dont no there name but they are really black with light blacky stripes bout 3.... really black lookin thing.... put on hand line an smacko :shock:

got at 70cm trout.. :catch:

.. was a realy nice fish.. 8-)

. some photos there..... so i caught some more live bait an mate got another trout only small but still legal an nice to eat........ we decided move to outer rock an found some nice ground but didnt get a thing beside little gob fish an little cod an big batfish... man i hate those things :banghead:

... moved around a bit but then went back to man an wife.... mate got a yellowtail travalley..... hopefully weather good this weekend so i can go out again sunday monday.. this time be ready...

but thanks dad for your boat yet again.... :cheers:

Good fish Jnr Harmsey, at least your getting out there.

Keppels? Are they Queensland. You should ask Harmsey to send you the new Fish Finder mag to go with his boat! :idea:

cant fish to save his life either, although he is getting better with every trip i take him on. :wink:

but i will send a copy of the FF down with mum next week little bro :fu:

and yeah the kepples are about 20kms off the coast of yeppoon in CQ

hahaha that is deffiantly not my dad... i hope my dad wasnt bald at 30... well started gettin bald at 21.... dont worry id disown you too.... jealousy is a curse harmsey... oneday youll get a trout like that.... :fu:

yeh CB still got the pinky... didnt catch it on that.... still goes hard though
