Don't know anything about a 135cm record.
I got a 135 cm barra from under the traffic bridge in the Rockhampton CBD. On a fresh slab of Powertail fished on the bottom!
Lee Jackson (the fella in the photo) has picked up a 145cm and a 148cm from the same spot in town.
The guy who makes Richo lures ( Ken Richardson from Yeppoon) caught a 150 cm barra to win the Rocky Barra fishing competition a couple of years ago. There are photos of that one on a brag mat with a tape measure to extend the brag mat beyond 120cm.
These are all wild barra not dams.
We've had a report of a 1.7 m one from the Wilton/Roper junction a few weeks ago. Bit sceptical about that one. Maybe 1.07 or 1.27 or something?
Have been promised some photos but still waiting.
