A quick trip to see Shane' new bub last week, saw me having a quick trip down to Russel head just south of Cairns for a day. We kicked of around tenish and headed way up the mulgrave to a spot where we flicked a few lures around to no avail water was cold and running fresh as. As the tide dropped we headed down to the mouth and trolled and cast the flats with some soft plastics it was pretty slow but we scored a nice Lizard and a few ock ock's great day out weather was great and with a couple of beers and a bag of jerky what more could you ask for. (next time Tinaroo)
