Hey guys, has anyone heard of these fins?
I found a pair at Cashies and they look the goods. Theyre asking $150 for them. Theyre a replica of the ones some guy used when he broke the freediving world record (133 point something).

The guy at the shop said they're bout $600 new but I call bullsh!t

Not necessarily Jack.

Mares gear is pretty top shelf. Don't know about the fins, but I bought a secondhand Mares BCD about ten years ago for $600 - at the time the new price of the jacket was in excess of $1,500

Having said that, BCD a bit different to fins as far as mission critical/life support - don't need a jacket giving way at 40meters

Don't think I'd be shelling out $600 for a pair of fins (altho' if they're in reasonable nick, $150 may not be a bad buy).

dont do it jacko roony, get the DiveR composites and do it properly. you'll need all the propulsion you can get when the hammers and bulls come in for a sniff.
