had the same experience at Shoal bay yesterday morning John. early start and set up the decoys but very few birds flew. got 1 between the three of us.
headed out to Lambells last night. was absolutely pouring with rain when we first got there. waited for the rain to stop and the birds started to fly in groups. we were the only ones there for quite a while and got our birds early. about 6 ish some yobbos turned up in 2 vehicles that had no idea. they were just shooting at everything. they would have been close to 80-90m away from us and were shooting at birds that were going over our heads, hopeless.
