Bwahahaha, no. Perhaps a small decoy can be offloaded when a croc shows, something that looks like a chicken :-)

Manton Mad
A mate, that's left darwin now, used to yak all the time. Rigged up all sorts of gadgets for fishing. Recons fishing was great and saw lots of interesting creatures. Hooked a few big fish that gave him a good ride. Don't recall him saying he came across any crocs though, must have been lucky. Would love to have a go and get amoungst a big school of tuna, but the thought of me paddling around on a little croc biscuit is a bit to risky.

There was a 10 foot croc at east arm wharf on Friday night and he wasn't shy of our small dinghy sticker if I would be in a kyak of a night but day time I think would be alot safer

I've done heaps of yak fishing in SA and WA. I Got a shark shield after I saw a great white. My yak hasn't seen the water since I moved back up. I don't think you can get a croc shield. Spent some time in remote pilbara estuaries and I was looking over my shoulder the whole time.

I have been in the middle of two busting tuna schools in the pilbara. First one I pulled a queenie. The second it was tuna getting busted by sharks, turned around and paddled straight home.

dont know how true this is but someone told me once thatt the issue with kayaks up here is that from below theya re a similar shape to a croc. Being territorial a big croc will come up to investigate for this reason.
