The suprise stand out combo as far as value for money was a t-curve 200 spin with okuma v80 reel loaded with 80lb braid, handled everything and cost about $600 comes with spare spool and bits as well. but reelteaser has quality gear that u can use top of the range stuff stellas and i think they are getting some saltiga dogfights atm.
tackle wise : stickbaits, poppers in the morning then upto 400 gram knife jigs big plastics and arrow head jigs with scrounger tails, big raider jigs worked well also.

didnt loose too many because of kevlar but did run wire leader to a swivel after a few where bitten off. great fun thou and a better action with just the 150kg leader rather than wire...but it didnt seem to matter at times when the schools came thru....

Also Cassini Island off the Kimberley with Darwin Bluewater Charters - 30kg+ GTs in 1m of water, plus sailfish, marlin, blacklip oysters, barramundi, mud crabs, crays, unlimited reef fish, big macks on poppers, and so many fish at times you have to take the hooks off your lures to have a break, and tease them for fun.
