Estimate about 15-20kg, sorry no pics as never managed to land one on the barra gear!! big schools of them swimming along edge of bank on right hand side of talc head, building tides second or third after dead neaps, early dry season. Used Mariboo jigs and live sardines from Mandorah jetty, had one day when were eating lunch anchored near the sandy beach around corner from talc head when school of about 15 went under the boat, double hook ups but lost both, could not get anchor up with both onto one! :banghead:

never went there to target them but always saw them when there.

Been smashed up by some huge ones of the wharf at Mandorah. Never managed to land one but i reckon some of them had to have been 15kg.
