Went out to Mary River Billabong last weekend, the one on the Arnhem Hwy. Stayed a few night in the camp ground. It turned out we were the loudest bunch there and most of us were over 50. Every one else must have been at the V8's
Fishing was quiet, water temp 23C, we only managed a 56cm, another boat had a 63cm. We worked hard for this one also.
Tasted good, cooked it fresh, added the juice from bought olives, had chilies and garlic in it.

River repot.
still flowing, access to Hardies is impossible now. and you can just get over the sand bar 3/4 the way down.
Crocs are big, black and fat!
