Live bait the sh!t out of every single place you can mate. I recently gave all my lures away. The Daly River is my go to hot spot for live baiting now, get your hands on some cherepin pots from the tackle shop, get as many cheros as you can, pull up at a creek mouth and put out as many rods as you can handle, floats are better, people can see them so as not to run over them and you sit back with a can, rod in rod holder and wait then haul them in. Top fun, always use circle hooks so you dont lose your hooks in their guts. Get into it, hope you have a big enough freezer!!
I agree, only live baiters catch and kill fish, and it is true they also have bigger freezers than lure fisherman.
As long as size and bag limits are respected, whats the issue, there in place for a reason. You don't own the fish, so it shouldn't worry you how people go about catching them, taking into consideration the above.

oh yeah.....someone might correct me on this but my understanding is that the fishos at night just stay there until the gates re-open in the morning...
try up near the dam wall too....sposed to be some big ones get around there....at first light throw weedless plackies over the lillies.....
in case you cant use a net make sure you have some little spinners or tweeny plackies to catch your bait or go back out, catch it and bring it in like Darwinguy suggested........
