That is an awesome fish to pull from anywhere, even better from the lakes considering how long it must have been there to grow that size.... I was down there the other day walking around with the kids and there were some great swirls, thought at the time I should carry the rod in the car again.... Might have to take the risk and chuck it in the car again, might not get a broken window and rod stolen this time....

be good to have our own goldfish like queensland. Imagine 10years time pulling 140s out of it.

i use to live around the corner from there before we moved and always saw kids fishing but never thought of it myself, may be next year when we move back i just need to convince the wife to get a house in palmy or might just choose larrakeya.... dont know yet decissions decissions.
