Getting to the ramp at around 600am on Saturday morning it was straight into it an it was noticeable straight away just how much water is still around.
Heading towards Powertail islands to troll some of the areas aroun the floodplains for first light had no prevail so switched tactics to flick around the pandanas to only pull some tarpons.
So after no barra it was off to rockhole were a rat was landed.
With no lillies at all out there an the water pushing way past the trees it was a hard days fishing.
Finally managed to pull a toga out of the wood works goin 70cm just up from rockhole, so it was time for some lunch an to get out of the sun.
It was back to rockhole to just near the boat ramp rocks were more rats were pulled an after this it was time to call it quits an wait for the water level to drop Abit more.
