had a crack today, the gf could only manage a decent pt for the day but I nailed about 10 bazz (mainly rats mid 50's and very swampy looking) and a couple of togas..many missed fish all on plastics bar one 67 that grabbed a big arse b52 first cast, I missed an absolute stonker of a toga that must have been pushing 80 launched around 9 and out at 3 so I'd say the early and late sessions would be producing more fish

Well another Corroboree report. Went on the Sunday when the V8's were roaring around Hidden Valley..always figure its a little quieter on the water The road in was great (sealed) as was the dirt road. Probably about fifteen other boats but pretty well spread out.
We ended up casting at all the likely pandanus clumps and snags, trolled for miles with not a touch. We spoke to nearly every boat we saw and only boat reported getting a fish early in the morning. The water level is still fairly high and the water though starting to clear is still a bit murky. Possibly another 2-4 weeks for the water to drop and clear and it should fish better. The only bit of movement we saw was tarpon and some big specimens moving about...
