Can't catch a decent barra but the Sooties keep rolling in : Northern Freshwater Fishing

Could only score a couple of rats plus this nice Soot @ 40 cm.Water temp on Upper Roper at about 24.5, water clarity out to about 2.5 mt. Have herard about of a few decent fish being caught (1 @ 93 ????) but hopefully with the increasing day time temps the Baz might get on the chew a bit more. Jeez I might have to resort to bait

Nice sooty's, they are angry little buggers.

We had one in a fish tank, had to get rid of him as he was smashing the barra we had in there. The barra were bigger but one of them had most his scales taken and bleeding in places by the cranky little poop.
