Stuart here are the willweather tide times and heights for saturday - Low 3:48am 3.8 m
High 8:47am 5.6 m
Low 4:11pm 1.6 m
High 10:43pm 6.7 m
Think the only time that could cause you some grief will be the fternoon low - bought that time you should be at Goat Island having an ale anyway I reckons - the main rock bars are all up by Goat Island and there rough locations are shown in the FF Book - frm there and higher on the river are the only rock bars to watch for. Although with the bit of rain that we have been getting it might not be too bad anyway.
Would recommend some cherabin pots to soak up the top along the grassy banks could be a few around!!

yeah you should be right. as siad with the rian might not even matter. but they are fairly obvious. if theres turbulent water just rising out the middle of the river chances are its a rock bar. only one to watch for is from beetrice to goat island.

Had a good 24 hours up the river, plenty of good sized cherapin in the pots for a feed, caught 1 barra at the adelaide/manton creek junction. There was heaps of water pumping out of it this morning with a wicked colour change. The barra went 68cm and nice and silver. Saw very few crocs.
Did manage to put a nice gouge in one of my pontoons at the ramp clipping the corner of the boat ramp wall misjudging the eddie, but thats life.
Had a ball at goat island as usual, its a stay every fisho in the territory has to do at least once in there life. Kai on the turps last night singing country road was fantastic.

I did an overnighter on the Adelaide on Saturday night but didn't venture up past the narrows. Had a good lightshow and tarped up through the rain but picked up a couple of jewies so it made it worth it. Didn't hear a boof up any of the creeks, water was real dirty
