Adelaide River : Northern Freshwater Fishing

Launched about 1400 yesterday and ran down to Scotts. Got the turn and some really good colour for the next hour or so with not a touch.
Moved up to Marrakai and went up to the forks. Full as a goog and not even a tarpon. Then tried the mouth for zip.
Started workin our way up with comments starting like farrkin adelaide...why do we bother
Finally came across a little creek on the right with godd colour. Eventually got a little bump.
Some time later and a little bit before a storm hit got this 65 which tasted clean as last night. Got smashed by the short storm on the way back to the ramp and off the water around 1800.
Other boats reported 1, 2 and 3 fish so I am happy to report

I hit up ADL over the weekend with my wife and didnt turn a scale all weekend seen a few likely spots though,had a great night with Kai and his Dogs spewing was no Country Rd rendition for us but hey thats life still a good night though.Also was good too meet a couple of other FFFers too,Itsinmeblood at the Island and then Olfart at the Servo plus seen rumjungle fly by too on the river.

did the adelaide friday and today, one 69 and a rat on friday and 2 rats today.

had a better crack last weekend with quite a few rats and several legal fish landed saturday and sunday.

Fed up, not hard up!! :moon:

We used up a bag of occy straps trying to make the boat rainproof with a fair bit of success.
She's usually reliable there Stu, the mark's in the Fishfinder. We were either side by 20m. :naughty:
