Went out there again yesterday, middle of the day, only got 1. I think early morning they seem to be less lethargic

Been out there a bunch of times & never caught one. A mate got one & I saw a bloke in another boat get one, so they must be in there!

Yeah went out there last Saturday morning, got there just after dawn. Got to the snags to find lots of Barra not very interested in hardbodies or soft palstics, had a few follow ups by some more decent Barra from some bamboo snags around the just legal size but they werent all that keen either. Water temp was 30 Deg, dont know if this made them more lethagic but they never showed much interest all morning.
Cheers,
Wade

Water was 33 degrees today plenty of fish around just not interested, dropped one around sixty and plenty of follows pretty frustrating seeing so many barra cruising around!

Went out for a look around with Dingo yesterday morning dropped a couple of legals and managed to land one, pulled alright too for a swamp thing... Fish are all pretty lethargic looking lots of half arsed follows.

its a great spot, plenty of fish on the bite now with the recent rain, road out there is pretty good, plenty of parking, not to far away. can pull in at the shop just after the turn off and grab a drink, snack and a friendly smile.
lotsa fish just need to experiment with SP's and to see what hard bodies they want.
worth the trip.
cheers
SJ

p.s pm me for directions if you need them.

You should pull roosta style poppers straight up the middle at 10 knots.

If you don't get a fish like this within 1/2 an hour you should go straight home, it's obviously silted up and the place is cr@p...
