Get in guys! Been getting reels serviced in Darwin for 30 years with varying results. Some good, some not so good.

Took my 2 TLD's and a Heartland bait caster to John for the first time last week and all 3 have come back better than new. He knows his sh!t and does a very professional job for a very reasonable price. I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Nice bloke too

John, what type of time frame does it take for Carbontex upgrade?
I've got an old curado that needs some love but I'm thinking of using it this weekend

Had my Stradic 4000, 5000 and curado fully overhauled and drag washers upgraded. Once again awesome job and quality work!

Had another couple of reels done by john, a service and a drag upgrade for a daiwa luna 103 for a light punchy micro jig setup, and a new curado that managed to seize up hard (not happy about that) like always the reels came back like new and silky smooth, cant rate the work highly enough, best service and workmanship ive come across, cheers again!!

Another thumbs up for North Shore.

I had four reels that decided they needed a service a week before going to Cobourg. John was accommodating and got the job done in good time for me. I have been using them for a couple of months since the service and they are still going strong.

I will be back with the boat rod reels next.
