I am planning a trip to sampan-tommy cut in march .I will be hiring a boat with a couple of mates and will have only one shot at it. Just want to know what the best tides would be, I understand that the neaps are best for trolling -but how much movement is optimum? Moon phase? I need to get this sussed early as one mate needs to plan his holidays.Cheers in advance.

Mate I cant help with tides, BUT if you search Shady Camp at on the search near the top and go to about page 3 or 4 or 5 you will find some reports from the pastrun off.

It seems the first big tides in march are the time to head around there, just between you and me,
