No.2

Just spent a few days with some mates from qld fishing some creeks around the mouth of the Wearyn, camping at Manangoora Station. We had a ball plenty of average sized fish in the creeks up to 75 or so...until I managed to bag this girl at 116, great tussle in a tight shallow creek she swam straight back to the boat before powering off at full speed in well under a metre of water giving us a rarely seen look at a big fish trying to split a creek in half with its shoulders. A couple of big jumps as well kept the knees trembling until she came into the net. Revived really well and swam off strongly

Great to hear some news from the Gulf. Any dead mangroves in that area?
