Here is a pic of my 1st Metre Barra 107cm. Caught at Awoonga in 2007 at the mouth of Castletower Creek. got it on a Classic Barra 10+ in Golden Streak. It was our last night of the trip and we smashed 7 fish in 2 hours after only getting 6 fish for the previous 6 days. Also got a 103cm that night too.

I wonder how much of an impact all this water will have on the fishing in the QLD dams

I wish I had Photos of my first over metre! Now going fishing for barra for me is rarer than Hens teeth!

HI All,

Thought i might share my fish with everyone. 131 cm BARRA caught on the Roper River in 2005. It took about 25 mins to land and two of us on the net to get it in the boat.

Loved every minute of it. The big girl was caught on a red and white 10ft Barra Classic using 12lb braid and 60lb leader.

P.S the green and yellow RMG was to through everyone else off in 05.
