happy fathers day
Made a last minute plan to go and chase some barra on sunday with my old man launched a 0500 from buffalo creek in search of barra.
The fishing was pretty hot all day with the river rats and classics doing the damage ended up with 10 barra with only 3 undersize and 6 good threadys found a nice bend with a deep hole and the fish were just balled up on it with the incoming tide every pass resulted in a strike or fish.
My oldman has been in Darwin since 78 and has caught a lot of barra but never quite cracked a metery plenty of 99.5 cm and then on one of the trolls he hooked up and we both could tell it was a decent fish then it jumped and we both said ohhh poop at the same time after a few minutes and a couple laps of the boat I got her in the net high fives all round. measured at 105cm couple photos and in the esky just kidding she swam off to fight another day,
really made his day and mine.
good onya dad

Re: happy fathers day
beautiful fish, what way to get her
well done
well done
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!
