well finaly after 5 long years of chasing that elusive meter + barra i mannaged to find one a couple weeks back at the daly it was a great fight she went 106 thought id found my second in 2 days but she pulled up short at 97cm :cheers:

after a good 5- 10 miute swim she was released with only her pride in tatters!!!

And some people say "WHY BARRA" ( and thats fine no issues) but there is your answer right there. A beautiful fish. WHY BARRA? because of their size, silver color, yellow fins, alluminous eyes, they JUMP, are one of the BEST table fish, the enviroment they inhibit is sometimes spectacular, calm water fishing, sometimes sight fishing, THE BOOF on surface lures, the list goes on.

Congratulations HEDGEBETS on your fish. It took me 20 years to crack it and not from the lack of trying now I have 5 so you now you have broken the ice the next one wont be far away.
