It was taken on a Gold Halco.... not a live bait. Took 25 minutes to land....bought it in for a photo and it promptly vomited all over the deck which we had to sleep on for a few more days.
After a quick snap it was released alive. Got one at the mouth of the south about 2 weeks ago that was probably bigger but it busted me off.
That's the only decent fish I got for the trip, the rest were those pesky yellow tailed large scaled perch, we got about 50 of those over three days....pesky things.

Susie Q, I was at the Mouth of the South a week and a bit ago but only got a few barra but nice big ones and lots of salmon. Last weekend went to the mouth of the Daly and got 17 fish biggest 90cm, this weekend it was dead at the mouth, but we got about 50 barra between clear creek and the s bends biggest 88cm.
Cheers Brent
