just spoke to my mate who i fish with back home at Port stephens and up here(cairns) during the heavy tackle season
and he deckied for Billy Billson on the Viking yesterday and they got their punter onto a grand slam :mrgreen:

ended up with 5 for the day, 3 stripes a blue and a black..he reckons their snappin everywhere..

consistent 3 fish days
for the last 2 weeks..

Awesome...and then you see a programme like "Swords..Life on the Line" (or something like that) and watch them scull drag these magnificent fish over the side with gaffs by the hundreds to be chopped up and stacked like cars at a wreckers .....makes u want to cry...
