talk to double haul about the trouble we had down the daily with the warlocks awsome lure but where straitening hooks and breaking bibs which was starnge cause the rig on the DR EVIL (hmm DR evil we love you) look the same but never had 1 straighten ever even on roid barra.

First troll run out of the packet and donated purple dazzler to the bottom of the upper Adelaide with Max back in May... :fubird:

Guess it was a Warlock without magical powers on that occasion :jester:

I got a few 80mm ones to try on the Limmen in just over a weeks time. The hooks seem ok on this size (famous last words)
Anyone sighted the new Halco Hamma 85?

I swap out the trebles and rings as soon as I get the new lures home..do it on every purchase..VMC 6x..Halco rings..good insurance against losing a really good fish.

Have seen 2 classics now where the wire loop on the underside of the lure to which the split rings attach have pulled out....no rust, just poor build.

Lost a silvery in the 80 range yesterday to a Classic guns n Roses......both the tail and head trebles and rings pulled off at the boat side. Tail mounting ring opened and head mounting ring pulled out all-together. New lure. That's the 5th failure between my mate and I this year.

I had a couple of F18 lures that the wire underside loop broke on fish straight out of packet. If you get damage like this, take a photo and send email to classic@bassermillyard.com.au and tell them what happened and they will (should) replace the lure. They did for me.

i always change the trebles and most split rings depends on how lazy i feel they never come with heavy trebles only 3x strong i believe.

I did email Bassermillyard and have taken photos so will send them too....see what happens.
