Hi there,
Yes I got the very nice surprise to receive six new lures for my small collection, as a present from Angry.
The parcel looked like a little treasure when I opened it: Even better than a box of chocolate.
From this nice little lot, only one was from a brand that I already had, the one on the left, it is a Stuckeys. This lure is very beautiful, with a perfect and deep finish and in a different colour than the ones I had, with a different bib too.
There is something special in holding in your hand a wooden lure, that has been hand made. To me they are like little art works.
And for all the other I need some help to be sure of the name of lure and it's maker. I think that one might be a deception, and that the other are Custom Crafted Lures. But I could be totally wrong, and that would certainly not be the first time...
So does it look like the Christmas spirit is in the air? Yes to me it does, thanks again Angry, this is a very nice present.
Here are the lures, thanks for your help. Have a good day, Pecheur

Pech,
You're on the right track, Stuckey Original Deception Custom Crafted Custom Crafted Australian Crafted Custom Crafted
The second last one is an Australian Crafted Minnow, by Anthony Curtis he lives in Wagga, as does Custom Crafted lure maker, Steve Kovacks, & Stucky lives not far from here either,
With Custom Crafted, Australian Crafted, Wayne Lennon of Orgee Lures, Graham Clark of Legend Lures with his Helmax, Billabongs & Yarrums & another Guy ( whos name escapes me ) who makes Mongs, Big Mongs etc all based in the same town you could say Wagga is the lure capital of Aussie......We got access to lures here that rarely come up in general tackle shops.
A good mate of mine actually works for Graham Clark.
Enjoy

Hi there,
Googz, Maybe it is because it is supposed to be a shrimp, so it will swim like one, backward.
Angry, Thank you for the clarification on the origins and makers. Now I think that Wagga should definitely be part of the next road trip... Thanks again.

They are all pretty good looking lures. When you compare them to the mass produced plastic ones you appreciate the work that is evident in the finish. I have made my own lures and poppers, they worked well but never cam close to the quality here. Very nice lures Pech.
If Angry is giving away the green lures, does that mean there is a better colour to be used?

No I just went through a Lure tray & thinned out a few, I havent used in a while......those colours always seem to go well down here.....just dont use the smaller ones as much anymore...
better believe Ive got more than enough lures.......I led a very deprived childhood... so im tryin to make up for it..
