Been looking at the handmade Deep River Lures that Barney supplied for last year's Seadogs comp. Works of art!

Anyone swum these lures? Hope they go as good as they look, almost seems a shame to get them wet.

I have run the ones from last years comp. Have caught some good fish on them. The small barra canibal had its day on the Daly trolling the middle. We couldn't get a hit on conventional bombers ect then threw that on and all hell broke loose. We got about 7 fish in an hour until it was retired to the fish gods all torn up. The down side to small wooden lures.
