Definately a factory paint job Blinky, gave it to pech cause it was an unusual colour and I never use it and I know he loves these old 1996 classics. Any one out there with old lures they dont use (particuly wooden ones) and if your not a collector Pech is one guy that would be stoked to get his hands on them. Think of the good fishing Karma!! After I gave him the pink classic within 2 hours I caught 2 nice barra!

Hi there,
And people, you should listen to Seano the wise, when he talk about fishing lures and Karma...
Any way, I will tell you the name of the colour of the last lure that I posted in this thread, and I got it from Rob Gaden himself.
The colour is called: Katherine. Not from the NT town, but from a lady... She was (and maybe still is, I don't know about that) the young friend of one of his good mate, and as his mate had asked him to do a "Lady coloured" lure for her, as she had never caught a barra, he did this colour. Not long after that she got a Meter+ barramundi, as her first Barra, 200 meters under the Shady camp barrage, by casting to a small gutter... How good is that?
And here is another 2 photos of it, this is really a factory job, not a home made one.
Have a good day, Pecheur

Hmmm, wooden classics.... I think I've still got a couple floating around, and wooden scorpions too. I'll take a couple of pics and post them when I get home from holidays. I've found them to be the turn too lures when nothing else is working!! They're great.

Drill a hole in one and put a small amount of mineral oil, similar to a sebile minnow, deadens the rattle a little, sewing machine oil is good for this. Oh and re plug the hole. (hot melt glue, or glue, or silicone, or something)
