If you can mate hang on until you get to Darwin, the stores up here only sell lures they know catch fish and will be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi, I cant remember the name of the shop, but the adventure shop accross the carpark from Amart, at Mile End, had a pretty good range. Also BCF on South Road at Hilton, Rays Out doors.
But you will find a better range up here, and they will generally be cheaper.

dont think we will be going into Darwin as we turn off to Shady before we get there.......would love to buy lures up there though...
Katherine rod and rifle have a good range as does the camping store at the end of the main street closest to the Katherine river. Prices are a bit dearer but the range is certainly there. If not use the internet and get on ebay. You can pick up a heap of cheap but good quality lures if you have the time for them to be sent to you.

Keep your eye on big w & k mart, they sell some quality bazza lures up to $7 cheaper than what they retail for up here (stiffy twitch baits $8). My mates just bought a heap of lures up and most of them were from these two stores or Ray & Annes.

Rays Out doors have really cheep barra lures from time to time, my old man often picks some up for me, classic's, bommers and a range of soft plastic from the Harbour Town store. $5 a lure or pack of soft plastic last timehe was there.
