Re: THREADYBUSTERS
Yeah a cheaper copy of the FLT Trans-Am
Have used both and both work well though i think the FLT is better......warning though must leave in packaging when storing as they melt
anything plastic they touch.

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
Been using the threadybusters for a while, some pretty good benefits to the flt transams. threadybusters dont melt from being mixed with other plastics or left in the sun like the transams. catch wise prety even but you can see how much heavier duty the threadybusters are, with 49 strand wire in the 60kg class as there backbone compared to 7 strand on the 20kg class on the flt product. they both catch fish the threadybusters are cheaper to.

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
Tried threadybuster a couple of weeks ago. Worked well when fishing action slowed a bit before losing it in pandanus.
Bought 2 more in Rocky for $22 each (ouch!).
Been looking to source similar overseas.
Trouble is trying to guess what the material and lure style is called outside Aus.
2 material types describing FLTs and Threadybusters is Revertex and Elastomer respectively. Been an interesting exercise.
Closest I got was a chinese vibe lipless crankbait with a treble under the belly, towpoint on top and a blade attached by split-ring on tail. Don't know if the tail attachment point is only for decoration or can take a treble.
Can anybody enlighten me on the material names?
Anybody find an overseas source?

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
Sorry
Forgot pics.
The one with the blade is 55mm and comes in 18 and 14 grams.
The other is 75mm and comes in 25 and 40 grams.
And they're not $22 each!

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
Ive been using them for a while now and Im impressed.
Got them from Frenchys
They are tough as. They dont fail like other softys.
I got 8 barra from one drain and it was unharmed (unlike the fish who inhaled them)
I chuck a cheap rubber around first to check the snags and if all clear, I use the threadybuster. Ive lost 2 on snags so far and they did cost me $22
How much can you get them for Ron?
