Some of the local culvetts

Post by shaggs »

Just some pics of some of the local culvetts I visited this afternoon
Might inspire someone to have a flick around sundown
Rolled a good barra over at the front of the little feeder creek at upper hicks road culvett
Lost a livey at the iron bridge and nothing from the others
Hillier road culvett looked good to
Here's some pics ,the water looks very fishy at all of these culvetts

The iron bridge

Had a look at most of the pictured culverts late last night. Not a lot of action, 1 hit from a rat barra. Spotlighted the water to reveal a couple of tarpon and a few small very barra at most of the culverts.

Cheers Blinky. Seems like a similar story at most culverts, need some rain - not looking forward to the predicted 8 day dry spell.

Any stories barra&hogs? Fished the Pioneer Rd Culvert for a few years any haven't heard of any dramas.
