Mandorah wharf is your best shot, with East Point rocks also a chance if you can cast a long way. While Lee Point is well known for mackies it is not often they are caught from shore there.

If you fish East Point go in the very early morning or late arvo.

Got one once in a kayak between Dudley point and the mangroves nears the bbqs at East Point. Was quite small, but definitely within casting distance of the shore.

For Mandorah best coming off neap tides when there is still water clarity, near high tide would be best.

Not the best time of the year for them now.

East Point rocks are usually good on late afternoons. Fish the outgoing tide with metal slices, casting them out as far as possible and winding in quickly. Also a chance of getting a GT or a queenfish
