Durrack Lakes

Post by ppete »

Hey Guys

Just moved out to Palmerston, Durack to be more specific I was wondering if any of the little lakes around the parks are stocked with any fish and worth a flick? Im yet to do any fishing out side of Darwin mostly East point, Lee point and Buff Crk so Im going to go for a look at few spots around East arm and Channel Island this weekend any tips on these spots would be sweet.

Cheers and Happy fishing

There have been some stonker barra caught out of durack lakes of the years - do a search on this forum. NT Government also recently released a few thousand fingerlings into the lakes so should be worthwhile fishing into the future. I wouldnt reccomend eating anything out of there though.
