I'd just cut a decent log with the chainsaw n take it down in the ute get few mates to get i into place n rope it in solid by drilling out a few holes in it may need to replace it every few years.
no corrosion issues n cheap as ..

cape york has heaps n you drive the car over them no worries most go underwater for the whole wet.

Still risky enough to stop the whole casual dangler crew
