I only live just down the road from there and I go there just as the water is coming up to the top of the road and for the first few days it fishes well then it always seems to die in the arse a bit from then on.. that's been my experience fishing there anyway.. my biggest there this year is a 64cm and I have seen quite a few around that mark caught there.. dropped a fairly big fish there and had another big fish swim me under the culvert and bust me off this year.. So there are some good ones there.
