Geez you put some effort into that post Sean!
I was supposed to head back to PNG for work today but seeing as the flight got postponed a day I thought I better make the most of the weather. Headed out around Howard Springs, Humpty Doo and Noonamah to the standard culverts people fish.
Got this 81cm fish on the upstream side of the road on a little black, brown and red squidgy. Lucky it was rigged on a nitro jighead because I had two thumbs on the spool when she tried to go downstream under the road.
Let her go after a quick pic and measuring along my rod.
All I can tell you is that it wasn't at Ironbridge, although Sean dropped a rat there. So get out there and find the fish because that's the fun bit.
Glad I got my culvert fix because I won't get to fish for another month.

Whoo whooo. Bet that girl pulled like a train. Not much room to play with a fish like that in a culvert. I might have to get out today and have a shot. Just gotta get rid of headache.

Nice fish, well done..... Don't we live in a great place, to be able to catch fish off the side of the road, (well now that it is finally raining).......
