Your not kidding mate!
Fishing ettiquet hey?? I'm not going to get pis*ed off about what's been said on this thread, what's the point? Here's my take on things (take it or leave it, I don't really give a sh*t ).
Being landbased except on the odd occasion means that we are pretty restricted with spots to fish. I don't understand why some people get so touchy about us not wanting to share all our info with thousands of people (most that we've never spoken a word too). That just doesn't make sense if you like fishing in peace and want to protect a spot from others you don't know who will neck everything they catch (not unusual to see). If you recognise the spot then good on you, go fishing
I get the feeling that the majority of fff members are here just to get the heads up on where is firing (most never contributing), and that is fair enough, you'd be stupid not too...but it does not entitle you to every scrap of information. If you are so desperate to know where we were fishing then instead of acting like a sooky little kid and having a cry in front of half of Darwin fisho's (it must be a bit embarrassing to look back at what you wrote and what thousands are reading ), why don't you take a deep breath and either let it go or and send us or whoever else likes to keep things quiet a PM. Who knows, if you're polite you might even get a few spots.
If your a culvert fishermen then you'd recognise those spots. Don't you think that by not telling the world exactly where the fish are that we are also benefitting you? Culvert ettiquet is an old subject. Yep, people are rude, culverts are cramped and rude people cramped together on culverts is a real b*tch. Who knows, maybe some of you enjoy having 5 people either side of you drinking and carrying on, all casting at the same eddy that you were fishing, each to their own but it's not for me. I'm happy to point people in the right direction if asked (not demanded), and so is Seano.

its even more ridiculous that people are making a hassle out of it when you can spend 10 minutes on google earth following creeks and waterways inland until they intersect tracks and roads and find at least half a dozen places worth checking out locally. Then you just go for a drive and have a look, thats how I found all the culverts that I fish.
