That is why I'm coming back to the NT. What a great trip and a beautiful bunch of fish for dinner. Well done and thanks for sharing.

g'day itsinmeblood,
Myself i have only got one half day to fish there so far, was very low tide, not much bait around, only landed one reef shark in the shallows. though a few of my other mates at different units got to go fishing a fair bit since they have been there, and have seen photos of very nice fish, and a hell of alot of very large mud crabs. gotta go back in tomorrow for another few weeks, hopefully will get a bit more time to fish, ive even started carving my own lures out there just gotta attacks hooks and make a bib and give em a go.

Awesome Catches that shows how important local knowledge is! We flew in first time to darwin and fished the morning high on 7th june east point rocks. Hit something nice but got reefed after a minute or so. Planned to fish a few locations that u guys recommended for our 5 day trip initially but settled for one small creek in dundee; too lazy to move hehe anyway, want to thank all in this forum for imparting great info. pls visit our website to view some pics : http://valsfishingblog.blogspot.sg/
