Good day had by all, the kids were going nuts over the little 15cm goldies and javlin fish. Shane and I had a kid go into melt down mod when he caught a dirty Powertail, he was so pumped I didn't have the heart to tell him, I was telling him that it was fish of the day
Big cheers to Shorty for getting this day up and running, you did well mate. Shane has all the photos from today and I'm sure he will post them up.
All a good bunch of blokes who helped out, looking forward to seeing you all on the water.

Absolutely unreal effort by all involved..............though hats off & take a bow to Graham & his Mrs. A top idea that a lot of time and effort on his (& his family) part. You're right Graham. The smiles were priceless. It also became evident on our boat that bullshit & banter begins very early when it comes to fishing. I got particular enjoyment when coming alongside those with the younger kids & witnessing them reeling them in & seeing their delight in hauling them in. The lads we had on board were talking about getting their names on the list within an hour of hitting the water & discussed the prospects of staying out there for the night. For the record, we got a lot of small goldies (all thrown back), but three keepers in the form of bream for the day. I know Agent 86 & Nomad 'killed the pig' with the lads they had on board. Good to see you boys having your deckies for the day pulling the pick. A big thanks to Moz for deckying with me for the day. Many rig changes throughout the day. Cheers Moz. Again, a top effort Graham. You've done those kids proud. A heart of gold in there mate. Well done. Have a top xmas & New Years all. We'll post some pics when we get organised. Cheers all involved Smed

Well people, Firstly I would like to offer a huge vote of THANKS to the skippers, Dragonmaster and Mrs Dragonmaster, Schubie, Ben Jam, '86(Dennis), Jeffish, and Smed, along with their respective crews, for a job WELL DONE. There is a bunch of verrry happy kiddies, who will carry the memories of today for a long time. If the two lads we had on Jeffs boat, are any indication, then today was a total success for all concerned. If any one has Photo's, please post em up. Special Thanks to Dave for the drinks bottles, and Schubie for taking the time to run young Brandon home..THIS is WHY we have the BEST fishin' FORUM in the country..The THANKS belong to EVERYONE who took time out to go DISHIN' UP A SMILE. Have a happy and safe Chrissie, you thoroughly deserve it. Graham.

Yep like everyone said it was a good day out - coupla pics attached of the many small fish we managed - did snag two crabs while the tide was pushing so they are about down there and the mud banks looked very fishy towards the bottom of the tide.
Good work to all involved
Shane

Looks like I need to figure out how to get me head around puttin pics up together, not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to that. Still, the end result was a bunch of Happy Smiles, and our two lads have definitely caught 'th fishin bug'. Next year I'll get a bit more organised, I'm pretty much a 'newbie' at this sort of thing, bit different to swappin cogs in a roadtrain, had an absolute ball and I'm proud to know such a great bunch of people. As I said before, the thanks belong well and truly to all who participated. Would be really nice to recognise the help given by Jamie at BCF.. A decent card from us would be the goods. I'm sending an email to the Head Office giving her a wrap for her services. Till we meet again...Merrry Xmas.. and a Happy and safe New Year from the 'Olfart' family.
