Got a bit of time up the sleeve this year, the monthly meets will eventually see everyone able to chuck in their ideas. That can only go to making the whole shebang an even greater success. I'll be keeping everyone up to speed on the progress via this thread. As usual, I'm just 'rattlin' the cage'. the truly amazing thing for me is that, the whole thing was borne out of an offhand comment, on a totally unrelated thread. The speed with which the notion became a very succesful reality still blows me away..Thanks ENTIRELY to the unselfish attitude of YOU, the members of the Forum.

Well Folks..Looks like we're off to a flyin start with this year's Mate's Day..With... Dave & Mrs DM, BenJam, 86 & 99, Shubie(Wolf), Steve B, Jeffish, Smed, Mud, BlackJew, Smarty, Nomad, Seano, steppin up to the plate right off.(All origional suspects) Undoubtably we will have a lot more come on board as the word gets about.
Spoken to Store Mgr at BCF, and will be going on the w/end to suss outfits and do a bit of haggling.. although, he seems to be pretty amenable to helping out, having noted last year's involvement.
As much as I would have the local smaller guys involved, they simply couldn't/wouldn't meet the requirements re quantity /price, hence BCF.
Will keep ya posted as things develop..
