Went out to Scotts Creek for a look yesterday, no fish but nice place. water was about 50-60cm below the road height. Did a bit of driving and exploring random roads but didnt seem to be a lot of water around. Havent done a lot of culvert fishing and was wondering if it is better straight after rain or after the crossings drop a bit.

And a herd of about 40 pigs on the road on the way out just after lunch too. Some nice size ones amongst them that would be well worth the $1.50 high speed investment.

Oohh.... pigs... where ya see em?? Not much area to hunt them out there is all tied up in properties I think. Can get em at harrisons reserve.
I think its too early for culverts.. wait for the rain to really kick in and I get sucess when its either raining lightly or a day after some heavy rain and they start dropping a bit
