I thought I had seen all sharks and rays then this lobbed in my email. I don't have any details - never seen one before.

Eye looks a big strange.
Kid is wearing a Holden shirt so its either taken in Aus or by an Aussie overseas.
Not seen anything like that before though.

Just looked up Grants Guide to Fishes and on page 67 you will find a fish called a shark ray that fits the description of the above fish.The book only has a picture of a juvinile which has different markings but has the same shape the book states that they grow to a length of 9 feet.
