Awesome! Looks like a withchdoctor on steroids. Have known people to use an old steel can, hammered to produce a cup at one end, then trolled like a giant popper. Not uncommon to lose a couple to big mackerel in the course of a days fishing.

I like to make my own stuff as well ,I could be wrong but you may find that these type of teasers need to be of neutral bouyancy ,I made one from a piece of 4 x 2 & drilled holes in the underside & filled them with led & it works great & any lures towed near it always catch Spanish mackeral & put a tough leader on it as sharks will steal it from you

All of them look the goods. I've been told a bunch of CDs towed behind the boat also works. Has anyone done that and found it worked?

Hi Tickety,
Your old 'worklight teaser' made me think....... Seeing as you have some spare time on your hands and are a sparky, what you need to do is make up a teaser incorporating;

Took the foam filled teaser for a test today and it swum like a cork should be great for attracting birds and ufo's!! as was mentioned by Max gunna have to strip down and get some lead inside along the bottom to set the floatation better, lucky the weathers cr.p here and the shed heaters warm.
